Teletherapy

After living through the COVID-19 pandemic with the rest of the world, one of the things that became abundantly clear is that teletherapy works. It provides convenience and access to good therapy even if you don’t live in the same town as your therapist. I offer both in-person and telehealth therapy sessions to my clients information.

Fees

I charge $150 per 50-minute session for both my individuals and couples. Some couples request a 75-minute session which I accommodate as well. It’s important to discuss all client information, including fees, upfront.

At this point, I do not accept any forms of insurance. Many of my clients do not want their insurance companies to access their therapy records or determine when therapy must end. Working outside of the medical system gives my clients a sense of autonomy and privacy that is invaluable. Many insurance companies do not currently cover couples counseling, and the value of that specific kind of therapy does not meet “medical necessity.” I never want an insurance copy to dictate any part of your therapy experience, so I choose not to take insurance to protect the autonomy and privacy of my clients information.

The investment for intensives is $2,000 for 16 hours spread over three days.

Cancelation policy

If you need to cancel your session for any reason, I require the standard 48-hour notice. If you cancel within that time frame and we cannot reschedule within the same week, you will be charged the session fee. This policy is also part of our standard client information.

Practice Management

I utilize HIPAA-compliant practice management tools specifically for therapists to manage all the intake paperwork and process payment. My clients information is important, and they enjoy the ease of filling out the tedious paperwork from home and having their payments auto-drafted, so neither of those housekeeping tasks takes up their valuable session time.
